Kinetica Art Fair
Today I visited with my art class the Whitechapel Gallery for the wonderful exhibition of John Stezaker (photo right). The curator took us around and explained the evolution of this 60 years old british artist that re-defines image making through his use of collage and re-appropriation, which often results in works that are uncanny and surreal.

pace where Artangel organized Henier Goebbels: Stifter’s Dinge , an extraordinary sculptural installation that was part music and part landscape painting.
The theme of the Kinetica Art show is the evolution of body, brain, mind and consciousness. Truly an unexpected experience. I entered this dark hangar with sounds and lights and I was overwhelmed by many interesting artists. A swiss guy called Raphael Perret (below) took 3d images of a Capuera Dance and created a movie, series of pohotos and some cast sculptures of the process, amazing.
I also found a very interesting roboticist Sarah Angliss that create an installation with a vintage handbag, giving it the same movement has her hearthbeat.. Really interesting. Moreover an interesting conceptual artist Tom Castle with his project Trope Troupe. Last but not least a designer (Skin Graph) who creates custom made cloths out of a scan of your figure and cut with laser…
