PINTA London 2011 a SUCCESS!!

Every year at PINTA, visitors, galleries, artists, collectors, curators, and institutions strengthen their existing knowledge and develop new connections with the Latin American Art world.  After its first successful edition in London in 2010, and four editions in New York City, PINTA was back in London this week!

Many new discoveries and established latin american artists where hanging on the walls of the fair. An impressive piece by beloved argentine  “colectivo” MONDONGO arrived on the second day of the fair, AMAZING (see photos). It is a wonderful Skull piece that attracts your attention for hours and leave you looking all the grotesque details and imagine your own stories over and over …

Many other pieces (Francis Alys, Rivane Neuschwander, Regina Silveira…)  around the fair were purchased by a crowd of international collectors. A true success!

I just would like to mention a couple of names of young artists that are interesting to look at, Emilio Chapela, Ariel Orozco, Ricardo Alcaide among many others.

Now next edition of PINTA will be in NY, but we are all aready looking forward to the next edition here in the UK!
